Employee Type: Regular Safely perform surface coal mine electrical maintenance and construction. Job Description: Essential Duties: Repairs electrical mining equipment and facilities. Performs electrical inspections on mine equipment and facilities. Works with different voltages in electrical systems. Performs job duties in accordance with MSHA law and regulations, established company safety procedures and State and Federal environmental regulations. Other Duties: Assist other maintenance personnel as assigned. Operate personnel lifts, forklifts, loaders, and other equipment. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge of AC and DC circuits, electrical controls and PLCs. Ability to troubleshoot with an understanding of electrical circuit schematics. Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions. Ability to work shift work. Education, Training and Experience: ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­An Associate’s Degree in Electrical Technology, Instrumentation Technology, Electronics, or 2 or more years of experience is required. Must hold MSHA electrical certification (green card), or have experience and knowledge to obtain certification in 1 year. Salary and Benefits: Starting Salary: $48.13 (Hourly) Position includes an excellent benefits package including medical insurance, 401K and company match, pension plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
