Join our dynamic finance team where you will be responsible for overseeing SFM's general account portfolio design, fund deployment, and governance. SFM has had significant growth in the last few years, as such our assets have grown.
In this newly created role, you will ensure that the investment portfolio supports long-term surplus objectives and short-term liquidity requirements. Working proactively directing consultants and third-party asset management partners through initial diligence, strategic and tactical asset allocation (SAA and TAA) studies, performance and risk analyses, and regulatory compliance is a key function in this position. You will serve as the internal resource for independent market analysis and response, work closely with the CFO and other key stakeholders within the organization and interact with the board of directors. Remote work is offered; the preferred location for the person hired for the role is in MN, but persons living in our core operating states of IA, SD, WI, NE or KS will be considered. Physical Requirements Work takes place in a semi paperless environment within an office setting, either on business premises or other remote location, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers, which requires being stationary for extended periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, and maintain concentration and focus. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and work with close vision. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Work is performed indoors with little to no exposure to extreme outdoor weather conditions.
