Clean Energy Ventures, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking a Sr. Project Manager Engineering Technical Support to manage the technical team in the design, engineering, construction and implementation of multiple commercial solar projects. Implement Clean Energy Ventures (CEV) project plan, develop and implement program standards and oversee major operations.

Major Responsibilities:
• Oversee design of solar facilities with key stakeholders to ensure completion on time and on budget, in accordance with required permits and specifications
• Develop Company strategy to increase efficiencies and meet budget goals
• Negotiate and coordinate vendor and contractor agreements for all clean-energy platforms and manage related documentation
• Lead a team of technical and project engineering professionals in the design of various clean energy; project Size range from 2mw to 150mw and up to $150m dollars
• Oversee the review and approval of electrical and construction engineering plans
• Develop, approve and manage commissioning test program and plans
• Manage permitting process
• Manage landowner issues at multiple project sites
• Participate in the asset management process by establishing various measurement objectives and ensuring these are included in the EPC agreements and implemented to specification
• Assist with the preparation of various reports and presentations for senior NJR management
• Evaluate opportunities to deploy capital for revenue expectations and standardize design packages
• Develop and maintain procedures

Position Specifications:
• Bachelors' degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering preferred)
• Professional engineering certification or Masters' degree in business/construction management preferred
• At least ten years' experience working with and leading various engineering and construction teams and a minimum of ten to fifteen years industry experience
• 20-30% percent travel to remote project locations
• Experience in working on solar project implementations
• Proficient in MS Office
• Effective communication skills required
