Summer School Dates: Tuesday June 9 - Monday, June 29, daily

Work Week: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm at White Bear Lake Area Learning Center (student contact time is 8:00am - 2:25pm)
Monday - Friday

Position Summary:
Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods in a credit recovery setting, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal. Occasional oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional or Volunteer.
Teachers will deliver small group and individualized instruction according to curriculum and plan guidelines; will maintain student records as it relates to student achievement including testing; will monitor student behavior. The ALC Summer School credit recovery program serves students from North Campus, South Campus, and the Area Learning who are behind in credit.

Education and /or Experience:
BA/BS degree and alternative school experience preferred.

Special Requirements:
MN Teaching License required
