Anderson Dahlen, Inc. is a market leading contract manufacture of capital equipment in the Food, Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Vacuum process equipment markets. We have a long history as a family owned, privately held, values-based company of approximately 300 employees and growing. Our team manufactures and distributes products to our customers worldwide. We are looking to add a motivated individual to our sales team.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
To provide a wide variety of sales and administrative duties in a manner which consistently provides effective assistance and support to customers. Working with internal resources to maintain and improve existing accounts, as well as develop and grow new accounts.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage assigned customers in Food, Pharmaceutical, and Industrial business segment(s).
Lead customer engagement for key accounts.
Support meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
Visit and/or engage accounts to develop contacts and better understanding of short + long term potential.
Assist with account ranking + forecasts.
Contribute to sales team meetings and complete all goals and to-dos as required.
Coordinate effectively with Sales + Applications Engineering + Estimating teams to meet opportunity, quote + order goals.
On board new accounts & management of existing accounts (as assigned).
Assist marketing efforts (technical input, project examples, events).
Attend various sales/product training to better support customers & outside sales efforts.
Other duties as assigned.
High school education or equivalent, plus 2 years of college or business school, or technical training.
Minimum 5 years experience selling equipment or systems for food, pharmaceutical, and/or industrial processes.
Knowledge of food, pharmaceutical, and/or industrial processing techniques such as:
Mixing, Blending, Sizing
Demonstrate Knowledge of manufacturing techniques employed at our facilities.
Detail oriented with strong planning, organization, and monitoring skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and varied projects.
Ability to relate well to others and gain the respect of co-workers.
Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
Ability to work independently.
REQUIREMENTS FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:
Thorough knowledge of all Sales policies and procedures.
Complete knowledge of operations in the department, which will consistently meet productivity standards and quality requirements.
Professional selling skills and strong business acumen with the ability to respond to sales or engineering related inquiries from customers.
Ability to understand customer needs and requirements to make educated recommendations.
Thorough knowledge of Company and department policies and procedures as they relate to assigned accountabilities.
Work scheduling reflects a thorough and clear understanding of job responsibilities and priorities.
Ability to relate well to others and function as a member of the overall team.
Deals effectively and cooperatively with established policies and procedures.
