The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill three (3) regular, full-time positions in the class of Administrative Clerk I / II. The eligible list that is established as a result of this recruitment will be used to fill future vacancies in this class as they become available countywide. The level of which a candidate is placed is dependent on their background and experience. The salary range for each classification level is as follows:
Administrative Clerk I: $33,130 - $40,270 Annually
Administrative Clerk II: $35,979 - $43,733 Annually
The PositionsTwo of the vacant positions are with the Health and Human Services Agency.
The third vacancy is with the Colusa-Sutter-Yolo Regional Child Support Agency. This position requires Bilingual Spanish . The w ork assignment for this position will be located in either Yolo County , Sutter County or Colusa County.

Administrative Clerk I
Experience : One (1) year of clerical experience. One (1) year of full time business education beyond the high school level may be substituted for the required experience.
Typing Speed : Ability to type no less than 35 words per minute.
Administrative Clerk II
Experience : Two years of increasingly responsible clerical experience; one (1) year of full time business education beyond the high school level may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
Typing Speed : Ability to type no less than 35 words per minute.

Eligibility Criteria : Online typing certificates are NOT accepted. In order for your typing certificate to be accepted, it must meet the following criteria:
• The test must be a minimum of three minutes long.
• The test must have been in the past 12 months of application. Typing certificates older than 12 months are not accepted.
• The certificate must include time limit of the test, gross words per minute, number of errors, date of test, and the signature of the person administering the test. The certificate must be on agency letterhead.

Responses should be consistent with the information on your application and are subject to verification.
