The Denver International Airport Life Safety Department is looking for a Maintenance Liaison to join the team. This individual will assist in the administration and coordination of maintenance and scheduling of airport facilities and/or mobile equipment.

In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Review and coordinate the maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks with shop supervisors and customers to ensure timely repair of assets
  • Create work order for facility and equipment maintenance, repair, and/or new construction
  • Review work upon completion for adherence to guidelines and standards
  • Monitor all maintenance work orders awaiting parts and update material status
  • Order supplies, materials, and parts and monitor inventory
  • Ensure accuracy of asset lifecycle data by reviewing and providing updates to computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) administrators.
  • Provide data for asset replacement programs and section metrics
  • Manage preventive maintenance (PM) backlog with the planner and supervisor to ensure PMs are executed as required or appropriate documentation is completed to support any exceptions
  • Participate in the DEN Snow Removal Program
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


FBI Background Check: FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment. By position, a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.

Snow / Emergency Duties: Denver International Airport is a 24/7/365 team operation. If weather conditions warrant or an emergency crisis occurs, all DEN employees can be required to work extended hours and/or shifts.

About You

We are looking for candidates with some or all the following experience:
  • Proficient with MS Office 365 Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and related technology
  • Industry experience in the trades (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Building and Life Safety Systems)
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Understands and interprets written material, including technical material, rules, regulations, instructions, reports, charts, graphs, or tables
  • Goal orientated and enjoys working on a team

  • Education: Graduation from high school or possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of public contact experience involving the explanation of regulations, policies, or procedures
  • Licensure/Certifications: This job requires driving. Requires a valid Driver’s License at the time of application; Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment
  • Education/Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements
