A Gas Lease Analyst job is available with the City of Fort Worth Property Management Department in the Real Property Division. The Gas Lease Analyst will assist in the management of the City's mineral leases and receive general supervision from supervisory staff.

Full time position in the Real Property Division, Lease Division, of the Property Management Department located at 900 Monroe, Fort Worth. Working hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening meetings may be required.

The Gas Lease Analyst job responsibilities include:
  • Providing a wide variety of complex analytical and support duties related to management of gas and property leases including research and verification of property ownership
  • Assurance of payment of gas lease royalties per the terms of the lease agreement
  • Read and interpret complex gas and property leases
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial real estate property lease and license agreements
  • Monitoring lease compliance
  • Budgeting, rental revenue collection, etc.
  • Drafting and execution of general property management agreements
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Four (4) years of financial experience related to gas leases and revenues.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in mineral management software such as MineralSoft, SharePoint collaboration software and commercial property management software and databases.
  • Experience working with a municipality or government entity.
