What You Will Do:
  • The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will report directly to the Director of Global Strategic Sourcing.
  • In this role, you will scrutinize and manage the development, validation, and analysis of data reporting to support decision making for the Global Strategic Sourcing team.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze Global Sourcing and Supply Chain KPIs, scorecards and process control metrics
  • Develop methodologies and models to optimize Global Strategic Sourcing Strategies.
  • Data mining and analysis to uncover operational and customer targets that aim at improving margin, reducing costs, and delivering creative and dynamic solutions for our customers.
  • Perform root cause analysis, review trends in data, and create ad hoc Global Sourcing and Supplier performance reports.
  • Offer process improvements to the Global Sourcing, Procurement & Supply Chain processes and software enhancements to address any ongoing issues.
  • Assist with identifying near-term opportunities within the current supply base that can reduce waste and drive value.
  • Participate in business process analysis to understand the needs of the Global Sourcing organization.
  • Help deploy and operationalize Global Sourcing & Supply Chain initiatives.
  • Perform special research to support domestic and international supply base development & sourcing strategies.
  • Perform cost/benefit tradeoff analysis and develop ROI business cases for recommended projects involving process, system, or technology change.
  • Assist with developing and implementing Global Sourcing growth strategies and projects.
  • Buildout of dashboard and analytics to support Supplier Performance and Commodity Management process.
  • Building out charts, graphs, and dashboards in support of cost tracking and raw material indexes.
  • Work with teams to develop capacity modeling tools that are required to manage and develop capacity at Suppliers.

What Will You Have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Analytics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Research.
  • 3 -5 years of experience in an analyst or data management role
  • Previous experience managing large data sets, reporting, and delivering results to senior leaders
  • Experience in process improvement and continuous improvement projects
  • Ability to handle a high pressure/high volume workload
  • High level of analytical ability to solve complex problems
  • Analytical thinker, detail-oriented, proven ability as a creative problem solver
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects to completion in a timely and efficient manner
  • Strong computer proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral presentations and written reports
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros)
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Tableau & SharePoint
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
  • Ability to think, communicate & interact globally.
