Overview

Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for calling on Emergency Medical Service Units, Fire Departments, Ambulance Services, and other pre-hospital and health-related organizations/personnel within an assigned territory. Will be responsible for growing business with existing customers as well as new business development to develop and enhance the customer base. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for providing product information and product demonstrations to customers in the assigned territory.

Digitech is a leading provider of advanced billing and technology services to the EMS transport industry. Since its founding in 1984, Digitech has refined its software platform to create a cloud-based billing and business intelligence solution that monitors and automates the entire EMS revenue lifecycle. Applicants should reside within the assigned territory (western U.S.).

In this role for Digitech, you are our brand ambassador for our future clients and the patients that they serve. You impact your line of business by developing relationships with potential prospects, establishing contact points with targeted agencies, and ensuring RFPs and proposals are completed at a high level.

We are looking for a qualified, experienced Territory Sales Rep to join our Sales team to help us achieve our strategic sales goals. Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and has industry experience, and a proven track record, of closing large sales. Ideally, you have experience calling on EMS providers or decision makers in similar environments. You are driven and have a high level of dedication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build, develop and manage accounts in an assigned western US territory.
  • Meet monthly/quarterly/annual sales quotas.
  • Research, monitor, and track potential RFPs with the goal of making appointments, and meeting with parties responsible for their ambulance billing contract prior to a solicitation
  • Identify and qualify prospects by telephone, cold call premise visits, and networking.
  • Develop proposals and conduct sales presentations for prospective customers.
  • Develop relationships with prospects to maximize chances of closing the deal
  • Partner with Marketing to review RFPs
  • Assist with gathering competitive data analysis, monitor competitor activity and share findings with the sales team
  • Proofread proposals and make suggestions, as needed
  • Submit targeted public records requests and update information received back into Salesforce and Sharepoin
  • When competitive contracts are awarded, conduct analysis and share findings with Sales & Marketing team
  • Meet deadlines and requirements for contracts and bids in assigned territory
  • Represent Digitech at trade shows, conferences and association meetings to promote the brand.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people at all levels within the company as well as with vendors.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, that includes the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from small and large groups.
  • Proven track record of closing large sales
  • Experience scheduling appointments and meeting with high-level decision makers
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Advanced experience with Salesforce CRM software and MS Office
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point software
  • Ability to analyze and interpret professional journals and whitepapers, customer protocols, municipality or private service bid documents and or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and submit expense reports.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, revenue, GP$, and GM% as well interpret related customer data reports
  • A minimum of 2 years successful outside sales experience with documented annual achievement OR commensurate EMS/Fire/Pre-Hospital experience with associated certifications
