The Planning group provides fully integrated planning and management as well as project development services for our clients. We apply our national knowledge and leadership while leveraging the strength of regional expertise to bring experience from across the country and extensive Federal level to understand our clients needs.
We are seeking a highly-motivated individual, who is passionate about transportation and is interested in gaining hands-on experience working on transportation projects for clients nationwide. As part of the Planning team, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Supporting the development of transportation plans including data collection, literature review, data analysis, and GIS support
  • Keeping abreast of transportation and planning best practices and synthesizing into recommendations
  • Conducting research, and performing data analysis, using spreadsheets and databases, and creating charts and maps based on results
  • Using experience and engineering judgement to make estimates, provide projections, and communicate uncertainty
  • Assisting with the development of progress reports, meeting summaries, and other administrative tasks
  • Writing, editing, and developing technical documents
  • Contributing during project meetings, technical sessions, and stakeholder engagement events
Ideally, you have existing knowledge in ArcGIS and Microsoft Office (Excel), and are willing to advance these skills.
