Job Purpose

The duties of the Accountant include a specific range of accounting functions including processing journal entries, preparation and processing of account reconciliations, assisting the Senior Accountant and Manager with the maintenance of all headquarter reporting units while ensuring compliance with SOX controls and company policies. The Accountant assists the Senior Accountant and Manager with preparation and review of all financial reporting, including but not limited to monthly and annual closing preparation, interim and annual audit requests and monthly revaluations of foreign denominated loans, interest and invoices. Our US FSSC consists of a professional staff whose objectives are to provide the US business units with specialized services including accounts payable, travel expenses, cash application, asset management, general ledger, financial reporting and SOX / governance controls.

Job Responsibilities

  • Third party payment checking and communication with department about the problem and correction;
  • Timely and accurately processing the payment voucher;
  • Identify/communicate any mismatches in the booking of supplier invoices;
  • Monthly vendor payment preparing;
  • T&E expense booking;
  • AP Document filing monthly base;
  • Monthly GIT/GRNV accrual;
  • Monthly expense accrual or amortization;
  • Monthly intercompany charging(Debit Note) and month IC reconciliation;
  • B/S reconciliation for AP aging, bank, GRNV etc.
  • Assist month end closing and meet the month end deadlines;
  • Assist Manager in preparing, coordinating and dealing with SOX, internal and external audits;
  • Other tasks required by Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Understanding of inventory and cost accounting is a plus.
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange and currency conversions is beneficial in this position.
  • Technical Skills: MS Excel; macros, pivot tables, advanced formulas. SAP, HFM, and Blackline

Education

Bachelors Degree in Business administration or Relevant industry
