Responsibilities

Weston & Sampson, as a firm is commitment to our Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) efforts. We are looking to add a part-time dynamic and motivated DEI Coordinator with 2+ years of experience in any of our Weston & Sampson Massachusetts offices.



Qualifications

The DEI Coordinator will work across the organization and with our Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access (IDEA) committees to plan events, provide guidance, support, and resources to advance key priorities.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with IDEA Council to implement a multi-year roadmap and strategy ro ensure short and mid-tange objectives are met.
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to help ensure integration of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access principles
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of long-range goals and events.
  • Research best practices to establish sound and innovative processes, policies, practices, and programs
  • Plan, develop, and implement communications with staff and members on IDEA efforts
  • Support the company with supplier diversity and equity in the project design cycle.
  • Recommend, conduct, and facilitate training programs
  • Guide the implementation of and success of various ERG groups throughout the company.
  • Implement system to track and monitor metrics and measurements
  • Support IDEA Council and subcommittees

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in diversity, inclusion, equity.
  • DEI certification is a plus.
  • Data analytics skills (assessment, analysis, reporting) of diversity & inclusion metrics.
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Relationship building skills.
  • Experience effectively managing short-term and long-term projects, events or programs simultaneously with attention to detail and organization
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative
  • Experience in influencing and working with large cross functional teams.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Able to travel to different office locations as needed
