Why Lytx:

Lytx is seeking an experienced individual who is accountable for ensuring teams get maximum the business value of the use of Agile (dual track scrum, Kanban) through effective application of its principles and methodologies. This role is responsible for ensuring the team lives agile values and principles and understands the processes and practices that allow teams to enjoy the benefits of living in Agile ways, measuring their progress and continuously improving.

Working with a talented teams of functional and technical experts, they are key proponents of Agile practices and values, using these to help drive forward the program of technical product development that empowers Lytx’s customer-oriented vision.

This manager-level position requires an individual with a proven ability to lead/coach scrum masters across a variety of disciplines, delivering results that meet and exceed stakeholder expectations.

You’ll Get To:

  • Recruit, onboard and Develop team members
  • Lead a team of Scrum Masters, ensuring that they effectively facilitate the Scrum framework and promote agile principles
  • Participating in an Agile Community of Practice to include Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other cross functional team members regarding customizing Agile approaches, tools, skills to the Lytx organization, including updating process and role definitions as needed
  • Coach and support scrum masters in establishing an environment where the Scrum team can be as effective as possible, addressing team dynamics, and ensuring good collaboration within and across teams
  • Ensure the effectiveness of scrum teams, be aware of team maturity and identify opportunities/needs to apply scaled agile structures (SAFe)
  • Running Scrum of Scrums practice to measure progress against roadmap and recommending course corrections based on market data and internal data
  • Measure agile delivery metrics at team, cohort, portfolio and segment levels, including the communication of these metrics to organization-wide stakeholders
  • Act as an agent of change for organizations using Agile.
  • Drives continuous improvement using data and information from teams to identify issues and ways to improve
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Certification as a ScrumMaster (CSM) and Certified Product Owner (CSPO); Agile Coaching Certification or Agile Facilitation Certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Agile Project Manager, Scrum Master or related
  • Minimum 3 years experience leading and managing team members of various levels creating an environment of collaboration and high-performing individuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and to deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences and stakeholders
  • Experience in interviewing and hiring employees
  • Has comprehensive knowledge of the principles, concepts and theories in application of Agile principles, mindsets and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Dual Truck Scrum is a plus
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussions to explore the best possible solutions
  • Ability to prioritize based on customer need, risk impact and strategic demands is a key requirement of the role
  • Experienced in a global organization – an advantage
