Job Summary The Elderly Waiver Policy Consultant will manage and coordinate the Elderly Waiver (EW), Consumer Directed Community Supports (CDCS), Personal Care Assistance (PCA), and the recently approved Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) program to offer home and community-based services for older adults statewide. The position is responsible for:
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 3 years of specialized professional experience in Medicare and Medicaid policy and benefits for older adults. Experience must demonstrate the following: • Experience with Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) for older adults and persons with disabilities • Experience interpreting federal and state laws and regulations governing state and federal health care program eligibility requirements Knowledge of Managed Care concepts and federal requirements Preferred Qualifications
