Description

Mayvin is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support USSOCOM at Fort Liberty, NC. You will play a crucial role in designing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems critical to mission success. You will work closely with military personnel and other engineering professionals to ensure the reliability and performance of electrical infrastructure in support of special operations activities.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must possess a Secret Clearance required

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for mission-critical applications, including power distribution, communications, and control systems
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify electrical infrastructure requirements and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into larger projects, such as facility upgrades and equipment installations
  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness
  • Develop technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and maintenance procedures, to support engineering activities and training
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions and improve system performance
  • Support project management efforts by providing technical expertise, cost estimates, and progress reports



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 12 years of direct related experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Experience designing, testing, and optimizing radio frequency (RF) antennas for various applications.
  • Special Operations experience
