The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the HR Manager and the Company employees to drive HR excellence, people initiatives and process improvement.Requirements:· Assist with recruitment lifecycle, including onboarding new hires and candidate sourcing.· Facilitates the hiring process including scheduling interviewing, coordinating orientation, collaborating with department managers on new hire schedules and training.· Assist with Travel and Lodging arrangements for employees and executives.· Post required labor law information and company communications as needed.· Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing and managing the office calendar and internal audits.· Assists with communication of benefit programs, changes, and updates.· Support Open Enrollment and other Benefit, Health and Wellness related programs as needed.· Ensure the HR department is organized and runs smoothly to attract, hire, and retain our employees.· Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

· Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, ethical judgement, and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive and protected issues and information.

· Previous experience in Human Resources or Office Management Preferred.

· Previous experience with Payroll Systems and HRIS preferred.

· Basic knowledge of HR State and Federal laws, regulations and practices preferred.

· Experience with full cycle recruitment helpful.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong organizational and analytical skills.

· Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.


Physical Demands

· Exposure to prolonged periods of sitting and keyboard input

· Adequate hearing & vision ability.

· Proper heat/cold tolerance, working in all weather conditions.

· Must be able to swim.
