BRG is seeking a Campus Recruiting Manager who specializes in attracting and hiring students and recent graduates. The Campus Recruiting Manager will engage with universities, attend career fairs, and host informational sessions and coffee chats to engage with top university talent. Will build relationships with educational institutions, helping to continue to foster our award-winning campus brand. The Campus Recruiting Manager will play a critical role in designing and executing early career and university recruitment strategies, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). The position will have one direct report and is a hybrid (in-office and remote) position based in Washington, DC.
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assess the effectiveness of the firms current campus strategies and identify/develop enhancements.
  • Build relationships with university representatives, career centers, key professors, and student organizations to expand our brand as a preferred employer.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of the campus recruiting landscape and historical recruiting data to identify the appropriate mix of targeted campus sourcing efforts and posting strategies to attract a high quality and diverse applicant pool to campus roles.
  • Work collaboratively and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders creating and communicating a clear project plan and keeping stakeholdersinformed.
  • Build KPIs and metrics to report on program milestones and measure success.
  • In partnership with DEI Manager, develop toolkits and best practices aimed at increasing our pipeline of diverse campus candidates.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to design the Early Career Branding & EVP Social Media strategies.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify and train Campus Ambassadors for representation at university events.
  • Host in-house career days for students and recent graduates.
  • Build communication calendar & schedule with stakeholders.
  • Partner with lateral recruiter to continue to build out and enhance the PhD recruiting program.
  • Manage the campus recruiting calendar and budget.
  • Manage campus vendor relationships.
  • Provide the Campus Recruiting team leadership by developing team members, establishing objectives, and overseeing work efforts to accomplish identified business goals/objectives and to support the employees career success/development.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in related field.
    • 6+ years of campus/university recruitment experience.
    • Experience designing, leading, and managing campus programs and initiatives.
    • Advanced knowledge of the campus recruiting landscape and experience developing target school strategies, virtual sourcing and event strategies, and innovative approaches to attracting early talent to opportunities.
    • Experience defining, tracking, and reporting on program initiatives.
    • Experience sourcing from early talent sourcing platforms such as Handshake or LinkedIn Recruiter.
    • Knowledge and experience of DEI best practices and working towards a DEI-focused recruiting strategy.
    • Strong project management, planning, and priority setting skills. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Proven competency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook (or similar email application).
    • Previous experience with Jobvite, Workday, or other similar Applicant Tracking Systems.
    • Experience at a consulting firm or other professional service-oriented company is highly preferred.
    • Ability to travel ~30% during peak recruiting season.
        Candidate must be able to submit verification of their legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
