Job Summary/objective

RedTown Technical Services, LLC. is looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join our Corpus Christi, TX team. Qualifications/Education Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of work history as an Apprentice Electrician with large project experience
  • General understanding of the electrical codes and installation methods
  • Able to read blueprints, legend symbols, branch circuits and one-line diagrams
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade
  • Network Cabling (helpful)
  • Team player
  • Safety conscious
  • TDLR or NCCER Apprentice License Required
  • OSHA 10/30 preferred

Essential Functions

  • Assist with installing Main Distribution Panels and Transformers
  • Pull various sizes of wire/cable into tray & conduit per drawings
  • Build and install EMT and rigid conduit systems (use rigid threader & bender)
  • Terminate cables
  • Grounding and Bonding
  • 120v single phase, 240v split phase and 208v and 480v 3 phase terminations
  • Ethernet cable terminations (helpful)
  • Implementation of Lockout/Tagout method and procedures

Additional Eligibility/Qualifications

  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must have basic electrician's tools

Work Environment

  • Working mainly in a climate-controlled environment, some outdoor exposure can be expected while relocating/transporting equipment.
